Caring For You
We provide care for more than 500 people in Gloucestershire, including the Forest of Dean. We also work in close partnership with Gloucesteshire County Council and have been awarded a contract for domiciliary care provision throughout the County. Our service also now covers the whole of Worcestershire. It's not just caring for older people. It's a service we provide to anyone in need of care and support in their own home.
Caring Staff
We work hard to make you feel at ease, carefully matching our carers to each individual and ensuring that all staff are properly trained so you feel confident in allowing them into your home.
To help you build a relationship with your carer we make sure you see the same team of carers at the same time each day or week.
Caring about Quality
Every one of the individually tailored care packages is reviewed regularly to ensure that all care given continues to meet the evolving needs of each service user.
Care Co-ordinators make an initial visit to discuss the details of your individual care package. From this information the care Co-ordinator draws up a care plan. The appropriate care workers are provided with the necessary information to enable them to deliver the service.
A care assessor will visit you after 6 weeks to ensure the level of care being delivered is still appropriate and then every 6 months afterwards to discuss and review the care package.
Live Well at Home also operates an efficient, quick and effective complaints procedure so that service users need never suffer in silence if there is anything they are unhappy about.
We are regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission and follow the General Social Care Council’s Code of Practice. It’s the quality of our care that has made us one of the leading providers of home care in the region.
Our Mission Statement
To enable the service user to maintain independence, freedom of choice and as high quality of life as is possible within his or her own home. To provide training and support to enable staff to meet the requirements of legislation and to deliver high quality care in a professional manner.
